The Philosophy

I take photos I am proud of. And I make sure you walk away with every shot you actually need.

After years of covering special events and corporate conferences across the Sea to Sky and beyond, I have learned that those two things are not in conflict. The best event photography is not about chasing one incredible frame. It is about showing up with intention, understanding what you are building, and delivering a gallery of beautiful images that still work for your client six months from now.

I want my work to be good enough that clients come back. And they do. That is the whole strategy.

What a Real Event Gallery Looks Like

This is probably the most important thing to understand before we work together.

A full event gallery is not a highlight reel. Yes, there are stunning shots. But a gallery that actually serves your organization includes the functional photographs your team will reach for again and again after the event is over.

How We Work Together

Two to three weeks before your event, we connect. I want to know what matters most, who needs to be in the frame, what success looks like for your photo library, and what you are going to do with these images afterward. That conversation shapes my focus for the event day and helps me create a seamless experience for you and your team.

It is the difference between a professional photographer who shows up on the day and one who does their homework and already knows your event before it starts. Whether you are planning a conference in Whistler or a business event in Vancouver, the details of that conversation change everything about how I will photograph your event.

Live Editing

For select professional and corporate events, I deliver a set of finished, polished images before the night is over.

At a recent golf tournament in Whistler, organizers had twelve beautiful photographs in hand between the end of play and dinner. They shared them in the room that evening and pushed them out online the same night. That window matters more than most people realize. Memories fade, but professional event coverage shared in the moment creates a lasting impact for your organization.

  • Sponsor logos, branded banners, signage, and product details

  • Candid shots of guests connecting, laughing, and having a good time

  • Group photos for volunteer and staff recognition

  • Website-ready images that capture the energy and overall atmosphere of your event

  • Professional headshots and portraits captured on the day

  • Full event coverage from setup through awards, so the whole story is told

I am not going to hand you ten perfect final images and call it done. I share full galleries because the photo your team uses most is often the one that just needed to exist. Not the one that wins an award.I am not going to hand you ten perfect final images and call it done. I share full galleries because the photo your team uses most is often the one that just needed to exist. Not the one that wins an award.

I specialize in candid storytelling. Real moments, captured honestly, that document what your event actually felt like. I am not shooting for my portfolio. I am shooting for your business event, your website, and your team.
